Langhorne Creek vineyard on the market | Stock Journal

A large-scale vineyard in South Australia’s renowned Langhorne Creek wine region is for sale.

Alexandrina Vineyard, a 105ha property located in Lake Plains, was previously owned by BRL Hardy Ltd and has been set up to operate as a commercial vineyard.

Currently growing 100 per cent red-wine varieties, 89ha of the land is planted to Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Sangiovese grapes.

Recent activity includes replanting 27.6ha in 2017/18 and planting 18.3ha in 2019, guaranteeing increased production to come.

Settlement of the property is to occur following the 2021 harvest, while the site has water licences amounting to 300ML, including a 220ML River Murray licence.
